And a Cat in a Christmas Tree

Everytime I turn around at Christmas, I am removing a feline from the Christmas Tree. I can't understand what
it is about a fake plastic fir that makes them go nuts. I don't know why they always try to eat an ornament. But I do
understand why I'm always picking up dangling ornaments off the floor over and over again.

This is Patches. She evidently had the clue what was going to happen when I caught her within the branches...
so she hid deep within. Sometimes I only knew she was there by looking straight at her when she moved.
On this day I caught her again, and snapped her picture before chasing her off.  I dedicate this piece to all of the cats who
can't resist the bright lights and flashing tinsel during the yuletide season.
